Laurie Kahler
Site Coordinator at Davis Pre-K-8
Laurie joined the Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania team as a Site Coordinator in January 2024. Before CISPA, Laurie had an extensive background working with youth. Laurie was a Juvenile Probation Officer for York County Probation for ten years. Over the years, Laurie has remained connected with youth through her career as a Behavior Specialist with Pressley Ridge and the York County Library System. Laurie earned her bachelor’s degree in business management at Eastern University. Laurie lives in York with her husband of 37 years, Bill. Laurie has three daughters, including a set of twins, and currently has ten grandchildren with one on the way. Laurie and her husband are musicians, and you can find their three-piece acoustic band playing at local venues in and around York County. If she has any free time, Laurie enjoys crafting and planning parties and events.
