Marcus Martin
Site Coordinator at Somerset Area Junior High School
Marcus obtained his B.A. from LaGrange College in Georgia, where he also was a member of the baseball team. For the last 14 years, Marcus has worked in the human services/education field as a therapeutic staff support for seven years, while the other seven were spent as a behavior health specialist at a private school specializing in working with children that had a variety of diagnoses, traumas, and challenges in their daily life. Marcus has a passion for working with youth and striving to make a positive impact on their life, the lives of their families, and the overall school setting. He finds joy in his work and believes one should always pour their heart into whatever they do.
In his spare time, Marcus enjoys spending time with his family, coaching varsity boy's basketball at Greater Johnstown High School, umpiring baseball, and lounging on the couch watching a good TV show!
