His professional experience includes serving as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Helping Hand Family, a Transitional Living Assistant at the Milton Hershey School, and a Youth Development Aide with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Youth Development Center. These roles have deepened his commitment to empowering young people through compassionate, structured support. Ditong holds a degree in Psychology from Penn State University, which provided the foundational understanding of human behavior that guides his work. Beyond his professional life, he has a deep passion for technology—you can often find him building, repairing, and troubleshooting computers and laptops. This interest led him to serve as the President of the Esports Club during his college years. Ditong is an actively involved member of his church in Hershey and draws great strength from his community. His own journey, moving to the United States at age 13 and navigating a new language and culture through ESL programs, fuels his dedication to helping others find their footing and realize their potential. She is a proud graduate of Delaware State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Law Studies. She later went on to complete her Master of Business Administration through an accelerated program. A former Division I soccer athlete, Kiarah now serves as the Head Coach of the inaugural Harrisburg High School Girls Soccer Team — a role that allows her to empower young athletes and help build a foundation for future success both on and off the field. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she continues to uphold the values of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action in all that she does. A lifelong resident of Johnstown, Carol has been married to her husband John for 36 years and is the proud parent of two grown children. She loves to travel—whether exploring Pennsylvania or venturing across the globe. With a trip to Ireland on the horizon, she’s already planning her next adventure. Carol is excited to take on this new chapter as a Student Re-Engagement Specialist and looks forward to building strong, meaningful relationships with the students at Greater Johnstown High School.</image:title>

For over a decade, Liz has dedicated her work to ensuring the safety of children in our community as an advocate for abused and neglected children. Liz served as the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Program Director and advocated for more than 5,000 abused/neglected children in Cambria and Somerset counties during her five years as director. In addition to advocating for children in the community, Liz has also served the community as an emergency mental health crisis counselor and a drug and alcohol counselor. She is very excited to continue working with children in the community and has always believed that every child deserves someone cheering them on. She hopes to be a constant support to students in the district, encouraging them every step of the way. Liz and her husband, Dustin, enjoy spending time baking and cooking in the kitchen with their daughters, Gemma and Madelyn. “Stressed” is just “desserts” spelled backwards.</image:title>

Alicia Kennedy was born in Tampa, Florida, and relocated to York, Pennsylvania, at approximately five years old. She attended Millersville University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Alicia worked with adolescents for several years before returning to school to earn her Master of Human Services. Throughout her career, she has had the pleasure of working with and supporting children and families to help them meet temporary needs. She has always had a passion for working with children and adolescents, especially those who may be experiencing situations they feel uncomfortable expressing to others. Alicia believes that children are our future, and we will rely on them to make positive decisions as adults. As a mother of two, she wishes nothing but success and greatness for her own children—and for the same reasons, she is thrilled to be part of Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania. Luke began his employment as a Therapeutic Support Staff, working in a multitude of schools. Afterward, he spent more than 5 years as a County Caseworker II, working as both a Forensic and Homeless Caseworker at Cambria County Behavioral Health/Intellectual Disabilities/Early Interventions Programs. Luke began a career as a Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist shortly after. More recently, he was employed at the National Suicide &amp; Crisis Hotline (988). He looks forward to making connections and building relationships. Luke is very compassionate and empathetic. He uses this, his previous knowledge, and continuing education to help students be motivated to come to school, with the goal of inspiring them to give back to society.</image:title>

As the School Counselor, he provided counseling, guidance, and therapeutic support services to students. He conducted an assessment to determine risk factors and eligibility of services within the community for the students who are identified to be at risk and provided on-going counseling services to students who are at-risk.  Also, he worked as an Intake Caseworker for Dauphin County Children and Youth Services for 20 years. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Duquesne University in Organizational Psychology/Organizational Leadership, a Master Degree from Duquesne University in Ethics and Leadership a Master Degree from Edinboro University in Education Leadership. His experience is enhanced by a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. As a finance professional, Mike is very interested in the use of IT systems to build efficient processes, serving team members with accurate information and guidance, and implementing best practices for a highly performing department. Mike enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of people and using systems and reporting to help them solve problems. Mike and his wife Rebecca reside in Camp Hill, PA with their three girls. Being an Eagle Scout, Mike has retained his love of the outdoors and camping and works to pass that love along to his children. Mike volunteers as the Scoutmaster for Scouts BSA Troop 196 and serves as the treasurer for Camp Pioneer.
